Two Week Half-Blood - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 10-16) experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Camp Half-Blood I & II are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Many of the questions at the end of the application are best answered in consultation with your child: so that they express their interests, their first choices of cabin (demigod or fandom), etc. Tuition covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, ImagineSTEM blog, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees. Art Extravaganza/Super Clay Combo-Grades 1-3 - Hampden Art Room
Supervisor: Susan Lutz. A popular camp combination - Art Extravagnza and Super Clay is a two-week camp. During this camp, kids will explore and discover their own unique ideas while using many different art mediums. 7th-9th grade girls: Innovators Hub - Saint Marys School
Students should choose one of the three programs as their primary focus but will interact with the other two programs throughout the week. 1. Learning To Lead: FINDING YOUR PASSION- focuses on skill building that will help girls grow as strong, confident leaders. Leaders-in-training work directly with women leaders from Saint Marys and the Raleigh community, both one-on-one and in group programming, to explore topics including leadership styles, public speaking, business etiquette, historical women leaders, navigating ethical dilemmas, resolving conflict, find your passion, and community engagement. Get a head start on calculus by reviewing important algebra, geometry, and trigonometry foundations you need to know to succeed in the course. Gain an edge by learning how to avoid the most common algebra errors made by calculus students.
