CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater: Featuring Songs from The Lion King Disneys Broadway musical, The Lion King, is one of the biggest and most beloved theater shows of all time. And theres no question why. Join us as we not only sing and dance through songs like I Just Cant Wait to Be King and Hakuna Matata, but we will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring Pride Rock to life! Campers will work with professional teaching artist to find creative ways to capture the essence of these animals and characters through puppet making, costume building and other elements of design. An informal performance will culminate this ensemble-building experience. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Seussical Jr Week Everyone is invited on our Seussical adventure this summer! ASAP: STOCK MARKET - Germantown Academy
The objective is to explore the Stock Market via individual portfolios. We will utilize a Stock Market Game on the web, where individuals select stocks and trade them over the two months of the session. This course is for 4th and 5th graders who are motivated to manage their own investments. 267-405-7520

Tech Explorers: Robotics and iPad® Stop-Motion Movies - Bethel Christian Center
Students explore robotics using LEGO® components and then use iPad®s and special effects apps to make a stop-motion movie. In the morning, campers build machines with LEGO® elements and then program and use them to uncover clues to solve a mystery. Theyll use motors to power projects and sensors to detect movement and trigger actions. Programming is easy with LEGO® WeDo® software - students drag and drop blocks on the screen to create the instructions to run their machines. Each student has their own kit and computer to use. Projects include building an airplane controlled through a keyboard, building a sensor-activated sliding door, making an amusement park ride controlled with a tilt sensor, and more. In the afternoon, students work in teams to create a stop-motion movie starring LEGO® minifigures and sets that they create using LEGO® components. Students record the movie frame-by-frame on an iPads®, add exciting titles, visual and sound effects, and background music in the Pinnacle Studio editing app! Teams choose the story and characters - it can be a comedy, or an adventure starring Scooby-Do®, a favorite superhero, animals, or Minecraft® characters. 206-466-6882

Wacky Water Week - Old Trail School
Campers will splash their way through a week of awesome aquatic activities with a variety of water adventures in some of the most elaborate aquatic facilities that Northeast Ohio has to offer. Under the watchful eyes of John Pintola and Jeff Eason (certified lifeguards), your child will enjoy water slides, lazy rivers, diving boards, zip lines, paddle boats, kayaking and more. Bring swimsuit, towel, sack lunch, water bottle and SUNSCREEN each day. Fee includes admission to all water parks. NOTE: This program begins one hour later and ends one hour later, so please adjust your transportation arrangements accordingly. Elementary Sacrament Prep - St. Vincent de Paul
First Reconciliation and First Eucharist is offered beginning in 2nd grade to those who have previously attended RE classes. Reconciliation classes begin in early January, First Reconciliation is in February. This is immediately followed by Eucharist classes. First Eucharist is the first weekend in May.
