Calling all chefs who love to cook! Fun will definitely be the main ingredient in the kitchen while your child learns how to prepare, bake, and decorate delicious food! Students will be active chefs as they measure, roll, stir and taste their creations. With small class sizes and lots of hands-on experience, this cooking class is sure to be loads of fun for all. Chefs learn the importance of safety and clean up in the kitchen after cooking. Chefs create a recipe book to bring home at the end of class to share the yummy treats they make in class to try with family and friends at home to enjoy! 858-759-9737

Participants in Discovery Camp will engage in sports, art classes, swimming lessons, open swim, movie day and weekly field trips. There will be plenty of fun had by all. Participants provide their own sack lunch, swimsuit, towel, movie concession money. Snacks, swim instruction, open swim, all classes, movie admission and field trips are included. No camp July 4. Payment Plan Terms: A $100 deposit per camper and a $10 payment plan processing fee must be paid in full at registration. Remaining camp balance must be paid in full by Monday, June 6, 2016 to attend camp. Contact Recreation & Parks Department for more information. On-line registration for camps is not available. Refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee. Beginner to Advanced. Children are divided by age and level. Camps feature development of tennis strokes, rallying skills, and competitive play that is age appropriate. Campers learn teamwork, make friends, and enjoy fun games like Angry Birds Tennis, Skyball and Big Kahuna. All camps feature HIGGINS BUCKS, Water Fun Day (no swimming), and the Higgins Bucks Store where children purchase prizes on Fridays!
