Howdy fellow camp alumni and camp lovers! Come out Friday, June 17th, for a fun filled night of music and drinks at the Columbia heights VFW on 45th and Central. Music will be provided by the awesome cover band, Greyduck with Chelsea Csargo on the vocals who is a former camper, staff member, and current volunteer. This event is a special night to donate money to future campers. Let's help provide kids with the opportunity to experience the magic of the Hodag while building memories they will carry throughout their lifetime! Everyone is welcome... So bring your friends! P.S. Drinks are affordable and there is no cover:)

$5 gets you admission and one vote at this special ALL AGES event, where 4 regional bands (including CIRRUS MINOR) will compete to win a slot on the SUMMER CAMP MUSIC FESTIVAL in Chilicothe, Illinois on Memorial Day Weekend; this would have us playing alongside Mudcrutch (with Tom Petty), Umphrey's McGee, Fishbone, STS9, moe., George Clinton and P-Funk.... and so many more! We need your vote! Also, we need people to help spread the word- we haven't played since October, plus, Joe Corbin (our drummer) will NOT be playing this show with us- he and his wife are expecting a new baby within a couple days of the show- so you will see a Cirrus Minor show unlike any you have seen before... gonna get creative! Girdwood Fine Arts Camp was established in 1987, and provides a fast paced introduction to a variety of art media and professional artist styles. This registration is for the Primary A rt Camp (Ages 5-8) for the W eek I Camp held Monday - Friday from August 1-5 , 2016 in the AFTERNOON from 1pm - 3pm Y our child will work with guest artists and volunteers to explore different techniques and styles, while fully immers ing themselves in creativity. This camp provides a truly fun and dynamic experience that will spark creativity, engagement, exploration and individual expression. (2016 SOP SCHEDULE BELOW) AKASPORTs Speed of Play: Leadership through Fitness Program, is led by AKA Director, Chris Schulz and the AKA professional training Staff. Participants enrolled in the AKA Speed of Play (SOP program), in partnership with the AKA All Sports Camp (ages 6-12), will offer adolescents an opportunity to be active, train and play in an All Sports setting geared to teach them leadership qualities with personal mentorship opportunities. The base of the Speed of Play program is from 9:00am-4:00pm and the doors are open for all Speed of Play participants from 7:00am-6:00pm, the same hours of the AKA All Sports Camp so you can take advantage of supervised activity time the entire day. Wright Skills Girls Basketball Camp, Grades 3-12 - South Orange Middle School
Wright Skills Basketball Camp is a camp for girls entering grades 3-12 in September, 2016. The camp will focus on basketball fundamentals. Players will be grouped according to age and/or skill level. Activities will challenge players to improve their agility, develop their offensive and defensive skills, and build confidence. Each player will receive a camp T-shirt, an evaluation and compete for prizes. This camp meets from 9am to 12pm, Monday through Thursday, July 25-28 and/or August 1-4. Players are invited to attend one or two weeks. The camp will take place at the South Orange Middle School Gym. This camp is under the direction of Jazmine Wright. Jazmine was a 4 year varsity letter winner at Columbia High School. Her team won two Essex County Championships, 2 State Championships, and a berth at the Tournament of Champions final. During her time at Columbia, she became the all-time leading scorer (male or female) and leading rebounder for the girls? team. She garnered All-Area, All-Conference, All-County, All-State, and All-America honors while playing at Columbia.
