Little Art 10 - Cosmic Arts - Artists Exchange
Lets make paintings on the moon where the sky is the limit in this week devoted to art in outer space! Planets, droids, space ships, constellations, astronauts, aliens and martians will be the inspiration for art of galactic proportions. Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475

Adventure Camp - Week 3 (4 Days Only) - The Greenwell Foundation
Adventure Camp (ages 8-12 by first day of camp session). This week, Camp runs for 4 days only (Tuesday to Friday) Why is Adventure Camp different? Campers are provided the opportunity to explore further into the park with longer hikes, shelter building, and learning how to build a campfire – and then Smores! Part of Adventure Camp is letting the group direct what activities they would like to do by coming up with new and exciting adventures. The staff has the freedom to be creative when making these fun adventures come to life. Campers will have an opportunity to kayak twice during the week, including a visit to the Hollywood Oyster Company. They will create and run their own unique obstacle course, go fishing and crabbing from the pier, and build their own boats out of recycled materials and test to see if they are sea-worthy. Mid-week, campers will hike to the Manor House area where they can build forts with bamboo, explore the gardens, play water games and capture the flag, visit the Barn and participate in our Nature Time program. Session 2: July 11- August 5 - Summit Schools
3-year olds (who are toilet trained) to children entering Kindergarten may enroll for morning preschool, available 5, 3, OR 2 days a week. A small class size of 16 students to 1 early childhood certified teacher and 1 trained associate enhances learning. The groundwork for early language, math and science skills is formed utilizing multi-sensory, child-centered activities. A unique phonics-based teaching system brings the alphabet to life, as it lays the foundation for reading. Each session is 4 weeks long - 5 day option: Monday-Friday - 3 day option: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2 day option: Tuesday, Thursday *Please consider sending your 4 or 5 year olds to our PreK kindergarten readiness Camps (see "2016 Summer Themed Camps" and look for PreK camps). These afternoon sessions are an opportunity for your 4 or 5 year old to prepare for a full day of school.
