Middle School Computer Programing Week 4 - Knott Hall
Kids will learn computer programming using Scratch software (developed by MIT) and Code.org. During camp, students will think creatively while learning programming basics. By the end of the camp, these budding programmers will be able to put their imagination and creativity into the form of a computer program. This class is a great introduction into basic computer programming. Developed specifically for kids Grades 6-8, Computer Programming camp is a great introduction into coding and logic-based thinking. 2016 RVA 9-14 yr. old Fishing Camp - St. Catherines School
Our Richmond day camp for 9-14 year old runs Mon-Fri from 8:30 to 4:30. We have designed the camp to teach the entire process of fishing from rigging rods, tying knots, baiting hooks, to driving boats with trolling motors, all while introducing campers to the great wealth of fishing opportunities the area has to offer from catching bass and bluegill in private farm ponds to smallmouth bass and flathead catfish on the James River. 804-272-6362

Build-A-Bear - Old Trail School
Campers will visit the local Build-A-Bear store on Monday to create their own teddy bears. The rest of the week will be spent creating accessories and other items that go along with their individual bears. Campers will spend quality time with popular Old Trail teachers and friends incorporating stories and drama, arts and crafts, songs and games, social studies and research, science and exploration, Math, and Language arts into all their explorations. Emphasis on teamwork, celebration of individual growth and creativity will make this camp exciting and memorable. Campers should wear comfortable play clothes and be ready to go, go, go! Saxon Math - Level II - BASIS Independent Brooklyn
This critical program will give students the opportunity learn and/or review essential topics to help set them up for success in math for the year to come. Incoming students as well as current students desiring review would benefit from the focused approach and further practice.
