LATEST CAMPS NEWS: SAT Prep May - Burk 8
The SAT Prep Class at Loyola Blakefield is an intensive four-evening class that covers the Math, English, and Writing sections of the SAT. The class runs the Monday though Thursday before each SAT test and covers two days of math and two days of English/Writing. Topics include coverage of basic SAT curriculum, test taking strategies, and the completion of SAT test questions. The class runs evenings from 7 – 9:30 pm. Cost is $175. Class size is limited to twenty- five students per session. The math portion of the SAT Prep Class is taught by Mr. Jose Albornoz. Mr. Albornoz has been a mathematics teacher at Loyola Blakefield for the past thirty years. He has taught all levels of mathematics from 7th grade pre-algebra through Advanced Placement Calculus. 2015 -2016 will be his 31st year at Blakefield and his 7th teaching the SAT Prep Class. The English portion of the SAT Prep Class is taught by Ms. Kelly Christ. With a BS in English and Secondary Education from Towson University and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College, Ms. Christ is entering her 16th year of teaching. Kid's Art Camp: Superheros - Circleville, OH

2nd Annual Summer Youth Camp - Manteno, IL
We will be taking 20 young men ages 10 to 18 to Camp Shaw-was-nas-see for three days and two nights of fun, learning and relaxation. Activities included at this event are First Aid, Map & Compass Reading, Basketball, Swimming, Archery, Nature Trail Walks, Zip Lines, Strength and Endurance Training, Mens Rap, where on last year we talked about the detriments of gangs, drugs and violence, and much much more. All meals will be provided. Last year we paid $60 per person to go to this event but through the generous donations of our donors we didnt have to charge any of the families for their young men to participate in this event. We were also able to purchase our insuance and supplies through our donors. This year we have been given a discount $50 per camper and we are praying for the same support this year. BOSS Camp - Session 2 - Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center
BOSS CAMP: The Sky is Falling - This 2 week, full day camp will be an amazing opportunity for your performer to participate in a full childrens theater production from start to finish. We will have a limited number of spots available. The first day of camp will be your audition and parts will be assigned at the beginning of the 2nd day of camp. The Sky is Falling is the story of a very scared chicken, named Chicken Little. Follow his adventure as he meets many of our favorite fairytale creatures including Jack & Jill, the 3 blind mice, old McDonald and much more! Week 9 AM - Body Balance & Mind - NESS
Be introduced to two incredible sports that will keep you fit, focused and balanced! Give your body the boost of energy it needs by refreshing your senses and having fun on the ocean. Explore Stonington Harbor on stand up paddle boards, while stretching, relaxing and testing your core balance. Ride the crystal clear waves of Rhode Island during surf class. No previous experience is needed, but an interest in the ocean and being active is a must. This class is perfect for new or returning students. Week 4 AM - Taste of Optis - NESS
Its never too early to get on the water! The Taste of Optis class is designed for kids aged 6-11 and does not require sailing experience. Meant to be a fun group experience, it enables kids to get a taste of sailing in one week of instruction. Students will become familiar with water safety on the docks and in an optimist trainer, while learning what it feels like to be on the water. Over the week the students will be introduced to the different parts of the boat, knots, rigging and steering. One step at a time this is an important one to take in a nurturing environment with friendly and patient instructors. 860-535-9362

Fairyland Art Camp 2 - The Art Garage Austin

#SforSCamp (Ages 13-18) - Kent Meridian High School
This is Washingtons premier Football Skills Camp --Check in 8:00 am Last year we had OVER 300 registered campers from Seattle, Oregon, and California! We brought in NFL Pros from the Saints, Seahawks, Steelers, Jaguars, Buccaneers, Eagles, and More to coach the campers. 7 on 7s, 1 on 1s, Position Specific Drills, and more. Parents and families are welcome, but not required to stay and watch their child perform. There will be competitions and entertainment available if you choose to stay.
