Youth Development Summer Camp Car and Truck Show - Concord, NC
The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office, Youth and Development Division, will be hosting a Car & Truck Show on Saturday, April 16, 2016 with all the proceeds going to benefit the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office Youth Development Summer Camp. The Youth Development Summer Camp provides At Risk Youth in Cabarrus County with a week-long camp experience. This year, we will be expanding our summer camp experience to include three, 1 week sessions that will impact over 120 At Risk Youth in Cabarrus County. During a typical week of summer camp, At Risk Youth interact with police officers in a positive learning environment. Some of the camp activities include bowling, fishing, mini golf, swimming, along with trips to the zoo and local movie theaters to name a few. Interlaced within these activities are structured lessons which teach about the dangers of bullying, internet safety, gun safety, peer pressure, and drug abuse. In today’s society, now more than ever, we need positive role models for our youth. The School Resource Officers of the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office are effective, positive, motivational, role models for these At Risk Youth. PLEASE COME OUT ON APRIL 16TH AND SUPPORT THIS WORTHY CAUSE.

CBMM’s Kids Club summer camps for 6-7 Year Olds - Saint Michaels, MD
Beginning June 20 and continuing through July 29, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is offering its week-long, half day Kids Camps, which bring age-appropriate Chesapeake-themed camps for children 4-7 years of age. Led by a CBMM educator, young Kids Club campers explore the magic of the Chesapeake Bay’s people, animals, and watercraft through fun and interactive activities, stories, games, and crafts. CBMM’s summer camps for children 4-5 years of age are offered during the weeks of June 20, July 4, and July 18; camps for children 6-7 years of age are offered the weeks of June 27, July 11, and July 25. Daily camps take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with campers meeting at CBMM’s Dorchester House and exploring the museum’s 18-acre campus and numerous exhibition buildings as part of the program. Participation is limited, with camps filling fast and pre-registration required. The cost for the week-long camp is $125 for CBMM members, or $150 for non-members, with scholarships available. Profitable for Teaching 2016 - Russellville, AL
Please join us for a week of serious Bible study. We are inviting men aged 18 and older to come and study God’s word together with us. The men who will present lessons are all devoted to the word of God and to teaching that word to others. The classes will be designed to be a particular help to those who are preachers and teachers but all are welcome to come. Each day we we will have six sessions with each speaker having about an hour to present. Each evening, our speakers will form a panel for a question and answer session. Our plan is to have everyone arrive on Monday evening in time for supper. Our studies will begin on Tuesday morning and go through Friday evening. We have enough room for everyone to stay overnight at the camp location. We will be providing meals and snacks throughout the week. To cover these expenses as well as utilities for the facility, we are charging a $75 fee.

Bling My Room - Lower School
Does your childs room need a makeover? This camp allows children to create beautiful pieces that add glam to their room! Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind creation as campers get to combine many different artistic mediums. They learn canvas painting by completing a monogrammed painted canvas ready to hang. They learn the art of mosaics by creating their own message board. They learn pottery painting and glazing techniques by creating their very own tissue box cover. Staff Application 2016 - Judson Baptist Retreat Center
A JBRC Camp Staff must be a mature Christian, pleasant toward campers, counselors, and fellow workers. Must be willing to work hard and go the extra mile and must have a servants heart! Ten-Week Staff will begin on May 17, 2015 unless you are applying for a wrangler position. Our Horse Program Director will contact wranglers about when they will arrive. All Ten-Week Staff will be remaining at camp until July 24, 2015 as of January 8, 2015. This could possibly change to July 31 if we book an additional group. 225-634-7225
