Each student will be given a Writers Notebook. This is a safe place for students to keep ideas and thoughts like real authors do. We will explore different genres and mentor text. The students will explore ideas, develop volume, revise, edit and publish final pieces of their writing. This will be accomplished through a Writers Workshop format. This class is based on a Ralph Fletcher idea of keeping a Writers Notebook. 8475043400 x2520

It's that time of year again. PAC Modern is hosting our 8th annual Summer PAC Camp! PAC Camp is a 6 week program where dancers of all ages can learn in a welcoming and fun environment. PAC Modern aims to bring dance instruction to their community at an affordable price. Come out and train with us all summer long! Dates: Every Monday and Wednesday, July 6th-August 12th Time: 6 pm - 8:30 pm Location: The East and West Gyms at Cal State Long Beach Parking: Parking is available along Atherton Street as well as the neighborhoods across the street. This is our first annual 5K to raise money for Camp Hope! Camp Hope is a ministry dear to our hearts. Each year we raise the money to take children to camp, so there is no cost to their family. We will learn how clay is made and used in many cultures around the world and explore working with clay using a variety of techniques and equipment like the slab roller and pottery wheel in addition to the clay work, camp will include special art projects such as mixed media sculpture drawing acrylic painting water color and fiber art.
