Planet earth is an amazing place full of fascinating creatures! Students will explore the land, sky & ocean while creating art depicting some of their favorite creatures & landscapes. Dont be surprised when you see elephants, giraffes, horses & a Picasso inspired rooster appear during the week. Animals from all over the world will be drawn, painted & created from clay in this camp designed for animal lovers! Please bring to camp: Large shoe or boot box for fired clay pieces (write name on box), old shirt to wear during camp. Each day: Drink & snack to enjoy during 15 minute break About our Summer Camp! Campers will experience 3 hours of creative opportunities each day. They will learn & practice basic art skills such as drawing with pencil, markers, charcoal, oil & chalk pastels. Students will learn color mixing & painting with artist paintbrushes while using watercolors & acrylic paints. Every day, students will also get their hands into clay every day while they learn hand building techniques such as pinch, coil & slab. We had SO much fun last year we decided to do it again!!!! Sign your kiddo's up for our 2nd annual Fit Kid Camp! Camp will run from June 27-July 1 from 9-11 daily at Anderson Dean Park.
