Paper & Paint 3D Creations (A.M.) with Ansley Young - Westerly Creek Elementary (Art Room)
Teacher: Ansley Young The wonders of paper and paint come to life in this camp, where 3D projects are built and produced from papier mache, paper bags, watercolor paint, acrylic paint and dimensional embellishments, like beads, yarn, and found objects. Participants will brain storm ideas for these 3D projects on the first day, and will walk away with fabulous creations, which might be masks, sculptures, or an imaginary 3D robot, at the end of the week. Join us for the last 10 minutes of camp on the final day for an art gallery walk in the classroom. We close online registration 24 hours prior to camp start. Camp Sol Summer Camp - Maricopa Elementary School
Join us for the 6th annual Camp Sol Summer Program. This camp is designed for participants that have intellectural disabilities with the ability to participate in a 5:1 camper to staff ratio. Activities will include arts, crafts, games, sport, cooking and special guests. Growing Scientists: Animal Adventures - CuriOdyssey
Growing Scientists: Animal Adventures Why are some animals furry and others feathered? How does a snail move? What does an owl eat? Have an up close and personal encounter with some of the animals at CuriOdyssey and learn about their amazing adaptations such as how they eat, where they sleep, and where to find them in nature. Go on an adventure to find tiny creatures living around Coyote Point Recreation Area. The world of animals will be revealed in this wild and wooly, slippery and scaly camp! Growing Scientists must be at least 3 years old by June 1, 2016, potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently. 4th grade and Up Overnight - Coweta County Fairgrounds
Girls will stay over that day at camp. Dinner, breakfast and a snack will be provided along with fun filled activites. They will sleep in either tents or in the main building.
