Lil Lambs Camp - Camp of the Good Shepherd
Lil Lambs camp is a great opportunity for Pre-K through Kindergarten kids to experience Camp of the Good Shepherd for the first time. Age-appropriate Bible lessons, songs, games, and crafts are just a few of the things that children will enjoy on their first visit to camp. Parents are welcome to stay for the day or may chose to drop their child off with our fantastic camp staff. All-Sports Camp Week 3 - Wingate Baseball Park
Camp Features: Campers will participate in team sports and age appropriate activities including: Speed & Agility Obstacle Courses, Soccer, Flag Football, Kick Ball, Whiffle Ball, Dodge Ball, Tag Games, Scavenger Hunts, Ultimate Frisbee, Fungo Golf, Water Activities & much more. •Fun, Exciting, High-Energy Coaches & Instructors •Campers will receive a T-shirt •Games & Prizes Campers will be grouped by age/skill level. WINTER SESSION- THE GREEK GODS MUST BE CRAZY Our bodies and voices can do wonderful things, especially if we are a God or a Goddess! CLASS OBJECTIVES & GOALS: Childrens natural acting ability comes to life as they learn basic acting skills, stage direction, group interaction and the importance of individual scene work as well as the power of an ensemble. Through listening, observing, improvisational exercises, vocalizing, and other theatre games, beginners take the stage, which in turn enhances their confidence and self-esteem. Intermediate and more advances students move on to more detailed scene work, acting technique and character development as they hone skills that will serve them well both on and off the stage. Robotic Dog & Photovore - Wow Science - Voorhees
Using cybernetic principles pioneered by Norbert Wiener (1894-1964), campers will build a robotic dog that can walk, sense obstacles and navigate around them, and perform other tricks. Herbivores eat vegetables. Carnivores eat meat. A photovore seeks out the brightest light. Campers will build a robot that will turn and roll to locate and bask in the brightest light possible. When it finds the brightest light in a location, it will stop and emit a purr (or burp) to show that it is content. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY. FRIDAYS ARE FIELD TRIP DAYS AND ARE THEREFORE FULL DAYS. UNLESS THE CAMP DIRECTOR GIVES YOU AN EARLIER ARRIVAL TIME, PLAN TO DROP OFF YOUR CHILD AT 9:00 AM ON FRIDAYS.
