www.velocitycamp.net Velocity is not just another hype camp attempting to motivate youth with cutting edge methods. With God's divine help, we have been able to gather international and world renound ministers and worship leaders to create and environment where students are not temporarily stirred, but eternally changed. We, at AwakeNation, observe the need for a camp experience that elevates the level of intensity of the prayer, fasting, and worship. Our calling is to push against the comfort zone of what students and youth leaders expect out of the spiritual experience at youth camps. Our mission is to break out of the traditional camp mold so that students are so consumed with the fire of God that they Fursiously Pursue God for the rest of their lives. Reading & Reacting Camp - Jay Lively Ice Arena
Reading & Reacting Camp Reading and reacting is one of the most important aspects of the game of hockey. Each player must be able to read what is happening, anticipate correctly, and react properly by moving to the appropriate space to make the play or support their teammates in advance of the puck. As we sat, it is much easier to anticipate where the puck will be, and go to a particular point in the rink ahead of it, than it is to chase it around. In this camp, we will cover the correct diagnosis, and response needed, for game situations such as cycling, odd man rushes (both for and against), power play and penalty kill, movement through the neutral zone, defensive zone coverage, offensive zone coverage, face offs, playing away from the puck, offensive and defensive play at the puck, back-checking and fore-checking. ATTENTION GOALTENDERS - Every RMHS camp will offer professional goaltending instruction from one of our professional goaltending coaches. We limit theses spots to four goaltenders per group. Schedules subject to change due to registration levels up to one week before the first day of camp 8778487647.0
