ASAP: Stop Motion - Germantown Academy
Create visual magic using an animation technique that is over 100 years old and continues to be used today in recent movies like Paranorman (2012) and Boxtrolls (2014). Animate objects, clay, and people by stringing together still images to create an illusion of movement using the Stop Motion Studio app. Students will need an email address in order to create a Dropbox account for Stop Motion Studio. iPads will be provided. Wrestling Camp - Germantown Friends School
The Germantown Friends School Wrestling Camp is open to students of any ability. Our goal is to give you a dynamic week of training tailored to your ability that will help build the foundation for a great wrestling career. We provide a safe, enjoyable environment and emphasize the ethical aspects of the sport. Participants will work on techniques in the morning, including set-up actions, positions, throws, offense, counter offense, bottom, and more. Live wrestling will take place during the afternoon. The camp will be divided into two groups, junior wrestlers (grades 1 - 5) and senior wrestlers (grades 6 - 12). GFS Wrestling coach and former college wrestler Paul Hammond will not only be directing the camp, but he also will be sharing his passion for the sport he has been practicing since he was fourteen. Bus transportation is available to and from Center City for $100 provided 17 campers sign-up on or before June 1 for transportation during the week of July 5 - 8. 215-951-2384

Outside Hitter Camp - Beck Center
We will be focusing a lot on the passing aspects of the game during the first part of the session along with working on the mechanics of the arm swing. The second part of the session we will be progressing into more game like situations that involve both the Outside Hitter and Right Side Hitter. This camp is for all levels of players as we will progress each drill according to the success of the player. If you are just starting out we will work with you to get you to understand the game from the Outside Hitter position and work through the early fundamentals that you will need to become successful. If you have played the position for a while you will progress on a track to teach you the different levels of the game and how we do things here at Transylvania Volleyball. Club Description: Fit & Fun Want to have fun and stay fit with your friends after school? Then sign up for the Fit & Fun Club where we will listen to upbeat music while we stretch, warm up, complete fun and funky routines, and cool down. Routines will vary each week and will include team building activities, yoga, core fitness, relay races, and/or light weight training. *Routines will be determined based on the abilities of the participants.
