Dates: February 17-19, 2017 (Friday-Sunday) Times: Camp starts 6 PM on Friday, ends at 9 AM on Sunday Ages: 4-H Age 13-19 (Age of youth on Oct. 1, 2016) and chaperones Registration Deadline: Friday, January 27, 2017 – complete forms and return to Extension Office Cost: $40 for Ravalli County Youth, $75.00 (Out of County), write checks to Ravalli County 4-H. Requirements: All counties must provide chaperones. Youth and chaperones must stay at the camp until checked out. Activities include fun workshops, private pool and gym party at the athletic club, dance, and more. Questions? Teen Sewing Boot Camp - Edmonds, WA
Is your teen bored already? Sign him/her up for our week long beginning sewing boot camp running Monday through Friday, July 19 through 22 from 10 am to 2 pm daily. They will learn basic hand sewing techniques by hand making their own pin cushion and then graduate to sewing a pillowcase, pajama pants a skirt and other cool stuff., including getting to participate in a community project. You will need to bring your own sewing machine if you have one, and basic sewing supplies. A list of fabrics and notions will be sent to you once you have registered. Cost is $100. The Full-Day Camp is a challenging and enjoyable session designed to develop the essential skills of the field player. Typing Club - Valle Verde Elementary
Room: B-7 Instructor: Sabine Kroeber Students learn typing skills using an online keyboarding program. Emphasis will be on teaching desirable keyboarding techniques, mastery of the keyboard and development of speed and accuracy. We will also practice how to apply keyboarding skills in real life situations: Typing and formatting in Word, creating word art in Wordle, and putting together a simple PowerPoint presentation. We will tour the keyboard and learn about lesser known keys like the tilde and carat on a keyboard treasure hunt! Returning students can continue to build their speed, while new students can lay the foundation for great typing success.
