Back by popular demand, Camp Broadway returns to Atlanta with our New York team of Broadway professionals to present our annual classic summer camp. Camp Broadways Original Summer Program enables theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. Hosted at the Rialto Center for the Arts, our staff will immerse your child in an authentic Broadway rehearsal process that allows all campers to be successful regardless of experience level. Inspired by Broadways cherished works and steeped in its grand traditions, Camp Broadway is designed to build confidence, inspire creative expression, and instill well-being in both aspiring artists and future audiences. An unforgettable getaway for 7th–12th graders. The week is jam-packed with exciting team competitions and powerful, life-changing preaching and teaching. Cost: $285 ($315 after May 31) Guest Speaker: Pastor Joe Shakour A $50 deposit and medical release forms must be in by Sunday, May 31 to reserve your spot. Final payments are due by Sunday, June 7. Clay Camp - Teen Wheel Throwing - Pomona, CA
This camp will be an introduction to the potter's wheel! During this camp teens will have the opportunity to work in a professional ceramic studio using the same equipment that the pros use. The camp will begin with centering the clay and creating basic forms, such as bowls, cups and vases. We will spend time learning how to trim and finish the pots. The last day of class everyone will glaze their work with their favorite colorful patterns. June 20th - June 24th 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Is your child excited about camp but not quite ready to spend the night? Good news! Timberlake offers Day Camp every Wednesday of regular camp for children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. Each Day Camp offers a rotation of different typical camp activities. We provide lunch for every camper, and they are put into small "cabin" groups, always in the care of our trained staff. NOTE: Preregistration for Day Camp is not necessary. If you wish, you can simply register and pay when you arrive at camp. Schedule 8:40-9 am - Check in (Follow the signs!) 9:30-11:30 - Rotation of games, camp activities 11:30-12:30 - Lunch and change for swimming 12:30-3:00 - Boats, swim time and camp store 3:00-3:30 - Bible Time with the camp pastor 4 pm - Pick up time What to Bring Wear clothes that can get dirty and muddy. Swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen for the lake. Water bottle. Optional: Snack money for the camp store (lunch is provided).

All boys need adventure in their life. This camp is for designed to foster a love of life and adventure outside of the trappings of video games and technology. The DC4B offers a generous sampling of activities and lessons that familiarizes the campers with games, hobbies, and skills that every boy should know and love. The camp is much more idea-specific than the usual boys summer camp. With its conglomerate of themes, this camp is directed with a specific vision towards the healthy, all-around growth of boys body and mind, through healthy, active leisure. The camp will be divided into four ‘companies, allowing the boys to take part in a friendly competition that culminates on the final day of camp. Sample activities may include calligraphy, sports, field trips, short stories, yo-yos, harmonicas, knot tying, bouldering, historic battles, juggling, paper airplanes, fire-building, slingshots, lawn games, creeking, and more! This class is designed for 3rd-5th grade students. The fun continues! For interested students with some acting experience. Well explore changing our voices and bodies to represent different characters from favorite and familiar stories like the Harry Potter series, The Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Secret Garden...perhaps well travel to Narnia. Students will get to stretch their wings a bit each week doing dramatic readings. Well include some fun theatre games and improv activities too! At the final class parents will be invited to a staged presentation. INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTER-CULLEN has been teaching childrens classes and camps at the Little Theatre for seven years. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild specializing in radio and television voiceovers, and has been a television news anchor and reporter. For rising seniors who do not attend Derryfield, students will work with Derryfields Director of College Counseling, to get ahead of the college process before school starts. Each morning, students will work on drafting their college essay. In the afternoon students will refine their college list, work on the common application, and practice interviewing skills. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear directly from college admission officers.
