LATEST CAMPS NEWS: College Counseling Mini-Camp for non-Derryfield Students - The Derryfield School
For rising seniors who do not attend Derryfield, students will work with Derryfields Director of College Counseling, to get ahead of the college process before school starts. Each morning, students will work on drafting their college essay. In the afternoon students will refine their college list, work on the common application, and practice interviewing skills. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear directly from college admission officers. Wednesday will be spent visiting a college campus, meeting with admission representatives, and learning how to assess if a college is right for you. (603) 721-1327

Mandell Cubs, a program for children ages 18 - 24 months, offers a gentle introduction to school. During the fall months, children explore the wonders of the classroom with their grown-up close by, in this non separation portion of the year. This camp is designed for our 3, 4, & 5 year old sprouting farmers. Children will be involved in animal care activities, meeting the new farm arrivals, nature walks, and simple farm cooking activites. These day camps are offered to teach responsibility and kindness for the farm, each other and our environment. Our camp days will include harvesting, making garden snacks, singing, storytelling, garden caretaking, garden crafts, and investigation of the natural world. Each day has a theme (past examples: Bugs, Seeds, Chickens & Eggs). This camp serves 15 campers with a 1:5 ratio of instructors to campers, allowing us to tailor camp activities to the ages and interests of those present. For 4-6 year olds.
