The Defensive Specialist camp will be a two‐part camp that will focus on the defensive portion of the game as well as the serve receive aspect of the game. There will be a progression of each skill from the building of your platform to the actual movement of hitting the floor. Great Family Camp
My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. Youth Leadership Boot Camp, scheduled for June 13-17, is now accepting applications. The week-long intensive leadership camp, geared towards teens, will help prepare them to be leaders in their schools, families and communities.
Youth Camping Retreat (Times to be announced) - Orlando, FL
February 19-20 (Times to be announced) In addition to having an awesome time getting to hang out with the youth group, we will be getting to hang out with youth ministry families as well. We will have food, games, and times of Bible study. Our Bible study will be centered on the roles of students, parents, and youth pastor in the development of students as disciples of Jesus. If you are a non-camper, you are still welcome to come hang out and fellowship. Day visiters will be subject to regular park admission fees: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people and $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people. Further details coming...

Teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to join Rock Island County 4-H for an interactive leadership retreat on Saturday, August 29 at Camp Summit in New Windsor. Teens will get to participate in team-building exercises, go zip-lining and other outdoor activities as well as give their input into ideas they would like to see for youth programs in the local community. Teens will learn ways they can use their interests and skills to develop their leadership, citizenship, presentation and organization skills by becoming in involved in the various 4-H Teen programs offered in Rock Island County.
