Using HSWM animals as inspiration, campers will create several works of art through various mediums. One day will feature a visit from Brush Studios who will lead us through painting a masterpiece. Craft Fair & Flea Market- Benefits Youth Missions Camp & Leadership Re
Since the Dallas Harvest Festival has been cancelled, we have moved our annual Craft Fair fundraiser to that Saturday, (Sept. 19th) cause folks like YOU will be looking for something else to do. Additionally we will be expanding to include a Flea Market! Come shop at the Craft Fair for gifts, home decor, handcrafted jewelry, wood crafts, and more. This year's event includes a flea market, bake sale, and a chili cook-off. The Snackshop will be open with some delicious lunch & dinner specials including our famous APPLE DUMPLINGS!-Get 'em while they last! Proceeds will benefit students attending Student Life Camp and/or the Fall Leadership Retreat.

Each camper will learn how to wrap their hands, learn basic punches, how to jump rope., how to hit a heavy bag, and so much more.

Work Weekend - Holcombe, WI
Always work to do to get the camp ready for the campers. Two roofs will have steel installed on them, cleaning of the chapel and some of the cabins, yard work. We will also be switching the shop and the game room so lots of hands will be needed there. At least 9 holes of miniaturegolf will be moved to the area around the garage (soon to be game room). Food will be provided. Let us know if you will be staying overnight so some cabins will be cleaned and ready. For those staying over Saturday night there will be a chapel service on Sunday morning. Lots of hands make light work so join us for a weekend of working, fishing, fellowshipping and enjoying God’s great outdoors.

2016 Camp Twitch & Shout - Camp Twitch & Shout
Camp Twitch & Shout is a one-week summer camp for children and young adults between ages 8-17 who have a confirmed diagnosis of Tourette Syndrome. The Leader in Training (LIT) program is for campers who are 17 years old and have previously attended Camp Twitch & Shout for at least one summer before. The LIT program is competitive and has limited space availability. Campers seeking a spot as a LIT will need to complete an additional application and interview following registration here. Those forms will be sent separately. When ALL spaces for Camp Twitch & Shout are filled, a Wait List is started. Canvas Painting (AGES 5-7 for the PM) Explore the colorful world of paint with teaching artist Deron Cohen (www.deroncohen.com). We will be making at least two paintings over these 5 days. Through step-by-step instruction and demonstration, students will learn how to break down an image into its most basic shapes and transfer those shapes onto the canvas. We will also explore the Imagination as students are guided through a creative process that encourages experimentation while also re-enforcing all of the previous techniques and skills developed. Time permitting, students will be encouraged to make another painting incorporating all the techniques learned throughout the week.
