Campers will spend the week making delicious desserts and mouth-watering main courses. Through daily hands-on cooking, campers will learn creative ways to cook some of their favorite dishes. Campers will learn how to make healthy cooking choices, read food labels, write recipes, measure cooking ingredients, determine proper portion sizes, and more! Please bring a light snack, or a lunch if your child is enrolled in camps all day. A $20 material fee will be collected on the first day of camp. Kid's Winter Camp #3, 2016 - Oakhurst, CA
Join the fun this winter as Dean-O and the Dynamos lead us in retro-rockin' worship and energetic chapel times. We'll play games, make crafts, make friends and don't forget about Sugar Pine's exciting winter activities. It's going to be a blast! Meet Dean-O: Dean-o is known for his energy and tenacity in reaching kids with the gospel, never forgetting he was a teen before hearing the good news of Jesus. It began in 1997 and has spread across the U.S. with over 1,700 performances in 40 states and a dove award nomination for children's album of the year. During these events and performances, over 10,000 children made first-time decisions to give their lives to Christ at concerts, camps, chapels, VBS weeks and large crusades. Dean-o considers his ministry an absolute gift from the Lord and a powerful tool to spread the gospel of Jesus through the gift of music. Session II Individual Skills Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
These camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to fine tune/learn fundamental skills by teaching and correcting campers mechanics and techniques. The skills covered will include passing, serving, setting, hitting, blocking and floor defense. The camp will be led by current UAA Head Coach Chris Green and staff. Space limited to 48 campers. There is a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Lunch will not be provided. 907-786-1226

In this camp, you will discover your artistic strengths and get started on a portfolio! Fine tune your observational drawing skills, paint to your hearts desire using oil paints, learn brush and other tools techniques, discover the power of color and how color works together, create sculptures using different materials and form, experiment by combining different mediums and approaches to create your own unique art. Animals have amazing adaptations to help them survive and thrive. Investigate these features through examining the shapes and power of fish, shark, and dolphin fins, the flying abilities of birds, the diverse abilities of animal legs and paws, and the power of claws. Learn how to knit or take your knitting skills to the next level with hours of instruction and practice in this hands-on camp. Beginning knitters will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and sew their creations together. More advanced knitters will practice reducing and adding stitches while learning about tension and gauge. They will practice drills that they can do by themselves at home. This camp is great for all ages and positions. Campers will be divided by age and ability to enhance their learning experience. Camps include contests, games, skill work, drills, camp shirts and more!
