LATEST CAMPS NEWS: OZ Park Summer FD Baseball camp week 11 FULL DAY CAMPER - OZ Park
LPBA is pleased to announce that we have added a second baseball field to our summer camp program at OZ Park. The additional field at OZ Park will allow us to divide the kids by age and skill level. We will use Field #1 for boys and girls ages 5-7 and Field #2 for boys and girls ages 8-12. The camp experience includes a daily exercise and agility training routine followed by instructive drills including base running, pitching, defense, bunting, outfield play, infield play, batting practice and other hitting drills. LPBAs summer camp programs run from June 9 though August 29, 2014: Half day sessions from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - $175 per week Full day sessions from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - $250 per week Fridays are rain make up days Camp registration is on a weekly basis. Bear Valley Soccer Camp Summer 2015 - Bear Valley Soccer Camp
The Bear Valley Soccer Camp strives to provide the highest level soccer coaching in a setting that feels like an old fashioned summer camp. With our natural setting high in the Sierra, campers are treated to a beautifully manicured natural grass soccer field, swimming in several local lakes and streams, campfires and more. The soccer is serious. The rest if pure fun. 2016 Bear Valley Soccer Camp once again features coaching from Santa Clara University assist.Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Curtis McAlister. Coach McAlister brings with him a coaching crew of Santa Clara Womens Soccer alumni. Learn the Beautiful Game at 7100 in the Central Sierra ski town of Bear Valley. This co-ed camp is for players 9-16. Both overnight and day camp options available. Besides top level soccer instruction, campers experience High Sierra fun with lake kayaking, guided rock climbing, camp fires and plenty of swimming. Accommodations are at the Bear Valley or Base Camp Lodge, which is given entirely over to our camp for the week, with adult supervised separate gender floors. Meals are at the Bear Valley Lodge across the street. Meals are plentiful and nutritious.

CHILDREN OF VOLUNTEERS RATE Spin, glide, wiggle and swizzle! Each morning, take a bus from Balboa Campus to the San Diego Ice Skating Rink for a half-hour lesson and two hours of free skating time. Learn to play hockey if it interests you (also open to COV boys age 5-17). In the afternoon, return to camp for more activities, crafts, badge work and fun with friends. Join Smart with Art as we discover sea-life creatures and explore the ocean with clay! We will create a bookend influenced by Edward Hoppers art, including a relief lighthouse design. We will work with glass pieces and clay, as we create a slab box based on Hokusais The Great Wave painting. We will learn about creating coils in clay as we design a tile with a sea creature of our choice. Exploring pinch pots techniques, students will design a bigmouth fish creation.
