We certainly had a lot of fun playing around with the name of Camp Kupugani on the ride up. Once we got to the site for the drop off I was pleasantly surprised at how fast our boy seemed to acclimate to his new surroundings. FALL Retreat - Timeless! - Prescott, AZ
FALL RETREAT SIGN UPS!!! Retreat is a time to get AWAY and get WITH God! We will have activities such as High Ropes, Zip Lining, Rock Climbing, and Archery on retreat. We will have the Sacraments of Confession and the Holy Mass (and an opportunity for Adoration). Saturday night we will have a bonfire with s'mores. There is LIVE MUSIC and all of your favorite Core Members giving talks throughout the weekend. YOU DON'T WANT TO SUFFER FOMO!!! (Fear of Missing Out)!! Kid's Craft Camp - Woven Wall Hangings - La Verne, CA
Kid's Craft Camp: keeping your kiddos busy and learning with some fun yarn art! •Price per student: $25.00 includes supplies and snacks. •Kids 7-16 are welcome, we'll have simple projects as well as more complicated ones for the older ones. If your child is under 7, but capable of the craft being made them feel free to check with us (if they can tie their shoes than we'll have something they can do). •Please come in or call to reserve your spot by Tues. the 16th of Aug. so we can be prepared with supplies.
Winter Break Kid's Camp - Flower Mound, TX
(Early care available at 7am for additional fee) Activities include swimming, sports, arts and crafts, rock climbing*, STEM Activity and more! Drop your kids off for some creative holiday fun while you get your shopping done! December 12th. We will be making a set of ornaments and a stocking. Kids will get the chance to add their own flair to each project. Bring a sack lunch, or bring $5 for pizza and juice. 10am to 2pm, 4 hrs. of instruction with a lunch break. Ages: Girls and Boys Entering Grades 7 - 9 Dates: June 27 – July 1 Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Format: One-week session designed around challenging activities Location: Laurels Lyman Campus in Shaker Heights Tuition: $360/session Cabinets of curiosity, also known as wonder rooms, were collections of extraordinary objects used to categorize the world and tell stories about its oddities. In this class, we will create a wonder room by investigating several of the many ways in which science and art intersect. By highlighting the overlap between art and science, we will gain a better understanding of each, as well as a new appreciation for how art can play a role in scientific processes and how science can inform and facilitate the creation of visual art. Topics of exploration may include: • Gyotaku/fish printing • Biological illustration • Kinetic sculpture • Cyanotyping/solar prints • The golden ratio and biomimicry • Using bacteria as paint • Nature journaling and the history of collecting 216-455-0154
