SUMMER CAMP Our Summer Camp Program has one primary goal: getting kids active, outdoors! The Summer Camp program is a LICENSED DAY CAMP through the State of Wisconsin. You can be sure that the camp counselors are dedicated to meeting the needs of the campers. All of our camp counselors are at least 18 years of age, undergo a criminal background check, are certified in First Aid and CPR and receive extensive pre-camp training. Your 6 to 12 year old can comfortably spend the whole day away from home. Your child should enjoy being around many other children in an outdoor environment. My 12 year old son said he feels at home in this 4-H camp for youth ages 9 to 14. It has helped him become a leader, solve problems, increased his self-esteem, develop independent thinking skills and improved his communication skills. This includes: Chauffeur in Santa Hat, Red Carpet Roll Out, fireplace on TVs, Christmas Cookies, Christmas Music, and Sparkling Cider. After our tour we will be back at the CRG office where we will be having some delicious appetizers. Live Music, Snacks and Drinks will be served. Angel Foundation’s Facing Cancer Together Teen Mentor program, provides a leadership opportunity for teens (13-18) to apply, be assessed and trained to be leaders within Facing Cancer Together programs, specifically for Camp Angel. Teen Mentors will be introduced to the field of human services, as well as provide experiences in groups with children and their families who have been struck by cancer. If teens have never been a camper, teens will be asked to be a camper in June camp in order to be an August Teen Mentor. To be a Teen Mentor you need to go through the application and selection process. Camp - Explorer Camp 10-14 yrs 8/15-8/19 - Recreation-D.P.S.
This camp is geared towards the older campers. We will be taking a small tour around the county to visit a few of the water parks. Campers should be comfortable in the water even though all sites have lifeguards on duty. Lunches, towels, swim suits and sunscreen are required each day. Through a variety of fun activities in and around The Derryfield School, Creative Campers will become more confident in their ability to observe, analyze, and problem-solve. Emphasizing the power of imagination and innovation, campers will be encouraged to create their own works of art using a variety of media and materials. Earthlings Outdoor Playschool is a year-round educational experience where respect is our foundation, play our method and the natural world our medium. Earthlings focus is to inspire childrens connection with the beautiful, wondrous and magical earth that we all share, emphasizing the importance of stewardship and care for our families, our communities and our planet. All Earthlings must be potty trained (no pull-ups). Please send children with labeled (childs name) water bottle and a non-sugary snack in reusable containers. For safe play, please dress Earthlings in closed shoes, long pants and a hat. A parent (or other adult) is asked to be a helper at least one day per session. This camp for both girls and boys will focus on concepts and techniques that are practical, simple and applicable to todays world. Discussion on potential threats and negative situations will be included along with tips for avoiding danger and physical practice for self-protection. Our experienced instructor will facilitate the building of a safe, fun learning environment in this invaluable camp! All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook.
