For veteran gamers, this camp will explore the dynamic world of Minecraft modding and learn new strategies to assist your survival and creativity. Utilize Redstone to increase creativity, and learn file editing, cyber security, and safe internet browsing techniques. Campers will implement some of the most popular Minecraft mods including Biomes OPlenty, Decocraft, Twilight Forest, Optifine, Pixelmon, as well as mods of the campers choice! Canyon Creek is just about an hour’s drive outside LA and I’m really glad we took our kids. They learned a lot about several different sports and seemed to be really excited when we picked them up. It is near a large lake and is a beautiful area. The camp was huge and had many sporting facilities. All of the equipment seemed to be new and the camp counselors were great with the kids. HS Winter Camp - Walla Walla, WA
Get ready for Trinity Youth's 18th annual High School Winter Camp! This weekend will be filled with good food, great friends, and whole lot of fun. Our goals for this camp are: To build strong student-leader relationships To build strong peer relationships To meet students right where they are—helping them take that next step in knowing Jesus better. Oh, and there is also possibility of having a lot of fun, too! Students and leaders will be leaving from Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19th (dinner not provided). From the church, we will drive 45 minutes south to Meadowood Springs. Everyone will be staying the next two nights at the retreat center there. We will be back at Trinity by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday the 21st. The cost of camp is $105. This cost covers travel, lodging, food and fun. ABOUT: Our featured speaker for this weekend will be Greg Gunter, Youth Pastor at Covenant Baptist Church in Romney, WV. Greg has a heart for young people and making sure they understand the Word of God in a practical way. This weekend, our theme is FOUNDATIONAL. All buildings are built upon a foundation. The foundation determines how well the structure will stand. You'll be challenged this weekend to look at what your life is built upon and what is the real foundation in your life. RETREAT COSTS: Register for the retreat on or before October 14 and the price is $59.00. The price for the retreat increases to $64.00 on registrations that come in after October 14. Camp Einstein practices the Innovator Mindset; tools which help strengthen our communication, collaboration, creative and critical thinking skills. Our highly trained Lead Explorers will help children select projects from the following modules, including: Music and Mechanical Engineering, Flight and Aerial Photography, Textiles and Technology, Reverse Engineering, 3D Printing, Robotics, and Augmented Reality with Google Cardboard. Students will have access to some of the latest technology tools such as 3D printers, computers, and laser cutters, as well as traditional crafts as they complete the projects.
