Camp Wayfarer, nestled in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, is a camp for boys and girls ages 6-16. Wayfarer is a traditional summer camp, but it is more. It is a family consisting of campers, counselors, alumni, and parents that are building new traditions in a young and growing camp! Wayfarer offers a unique opportunity for campers to grow based on a firm foundation of spiritual, physical, mental, and social development. Campers learn to make good decisions and become independent leaders by living in a supportive camp family.

My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. They can’t stop talking about the fun times and the great counselors and friends they've made.
