Camp Luther Teen Weekend - Anchorage, AK


Teen Celtic Camp - Boulder Creek, CA
Ages 13-18, $640 early bird registration. Spend all day playing music in the redwoods, and have a great time singing, dancing, watching Song of the Sea in the meadow, sessioning and improv-ing every night! Before dinner in the late afternoon the pool is open as well as the volleyball court, ping pong table, basket ball and tether ball. Program includes all meals and boarding. Bring bedding, clothes (including swimsuit and jacket), towel, toiletries, bug repellant, sunscreen, your instrument, and music stand. Costumes may be useful, as well as other fun things for the pool and ceilidh as long as they are safe and legal. Theme: Celtic Luau? For players of fiddle, flute, pennywhistle, recorder, oboe, bassoon, harp, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, accordion, percussion and cello. Other activities include crafts, campfire, and bamboo flute making.

The Mid-High Camp is a 2-day camp that will feature intense drills and practices for campers entering 7th-9th Grade in Fall 2016. Camp instruction will be provided by the OU Football Coaching Staff along with select current Sooner players. This camp will help improve your campers skills while they experience the Sooner Championship tradition alongside our elite coaches and athletes! Robotics-Maker Station - Amador Elementary School
ROBOTICS Explore and build with Lego WeDo 2.0 robots. Students will build robots using the new Lego WeDo 2.0 system. Students will learn to assemble and program the robots to learn the basic concepts of programming. Once students have shown mastery of the system basics they will be allowed follow their own path as they investigate increasingly complex modules. Modules may include: Sorting to Recycle: Design a device that uses the physical properties of objects, including their shape and size, to sort them. Robust Structures: Investigate the characteristics that make a building earthquake resistant, using an earthquake simulator constructed from LEGO® bricks. MAKER STATION Learn how to build a catapult from common household materials and use the Engineering Design Process to improve your design. Prototype a foam rocket toy and experiment with the design to fly longer and farther. Build balloon powered rocket cars to race against your classmates. Students will be building with common household materials and applying the Engineering Design Process to their work.
