Cornerstone Kid's Camp - Madison, TN
This summer will be one for the books. 1st-5th graders are invited to join us for our 2015 Kid’s Camp. We will be spending a week in Crossville, TN at a beautiful camp ground. Each day is filled with swimming, hiking, fishing, group games, archery and much more. Every night we have special services specifically designed to speak into their young lives. Not only will they have a great fun-filled week of team building and new friendships, but their spiritual lives will be strengthened by the power of the word, scripture memorization and praise & worship. If you have any questions, please call the church office and ask for the Children’s department. Don’t let your kids miss out on this amazing summer. Time – Monday (drop-off 7am) to Friday (pick-up 1:30pm) Location – Crossville, TN Ages – 1st to 5th grade Cost – $195 due by June 24th
The Honcho Summer Campout - Proctor, WV
An idea that has been burning in our brains for a few years will finally spill into the steep, hilly forests of West Virginia this August. Save the date, we'll be taking over the insane Roseland Resort for a weekend bonanza of pool parties, camp fires, club ragers and weirdo sunrise woodland excursions together. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR NOW: - Roseland has a 20 year tradition of being a clothing optional, men-only resort. We must respect the rules of the space and adhere to this for the 2015 edition. We will work towards a larger idea in the future. - We have held ALL of the cabins and best tent camp sites on the resort property in a discounted Honcho block. You will get 10% off all lodging. DO NOT BOOK by yourself without a Honcho Campout ticket because that would be silly and you'll end up somewhere stupid, paying more. - In order to get access to these sites and rates, you will purchase a Honcho Campout ticket for $15. Session #6 – “Farm Trackers Camp” - July 18-21, Ages 6-12 Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm Join us on the farm tracking BIG ANIMALS – Farmer Larry will teach you all about how to track animals on the farm. Go on daily nature hikes to track our "big" farm animals. . Learn how animals help make our work easier - which animals dig our garden and which help clear the land. Daily crafts include making your own "Animal Track" necklace to wear and take home, making and decorating your own Trail Camp walking stick to hike the trail. Not to mention our nature SCAVENGER HUNT!
