Kodu & Logo Programming - The Evergreen School
Students will learn how to program their own computer games and simulations, using Microsofts Kodu interactive game development environment and NetLogo, developed at Northwestern University. They will design their own landscapes for their Kodu character to navigate, add apples to collect and score points, and much more in this visual, block-based programming language. Well learn NetLogo by exploring models of ant colonies, traffic simulations, and the theory of wolf-sheep predation. Then students will design their own scenarios and even create games by typing in simple text-based code. No previous experience necessary. 206-957-1533

Steubenville Conference & Mission Trip - Diocese of Duluth
Join us for a week long trip that includes three days of mission work, attendance at the Mid-America Steubenville Youth Conference July 15-17, and a day at an amusement park. This will be a diocesan trip with students from across the diocese in attendance! 218-724-9111

Session 1 at Harvard University - Blodgett Pool, Harvard University
Technique Swim Academy is a summer swim camp at Harvard University for children who are interested in swimming at the club, high school or collegiate level, as well as those interested in the sport for recreation. Supervised by Harvard Head Coaches Stephanie Morawski and Kevin Tyrrell and Northeastern Head Coach Roy Coates, Technique Swim Academys roster of experienced instructors teach campers proper swim technique and help them achieve their personal best through concentrated swimming instruction. Each day, we focus on one competitive stroke and reinforce technique through demonstrations, practice drills and daily videotape sessions. Our goal is to provide an atmosphere where swimmers are excited by the sport and eager to learn about all facets of competitive swimming. 617-484-0550

THE DEREK LEADER SOCCER ID CAMP IS DESIGNED TO EXPOSE PLAYERS TO COLLEGIATE TRAINING SESSIONS AT THE DIVISION I LEVEL. PLAYERS WILL BE PUT THROUGH THE SAME TRAINING SESSIONS THAT THE GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY WOMENS SOCCER TEAM EXPERIENCES THROUGHOUT THEIR SEASON. TRAININGS WILL BE CONDUCTED BY COLLEGIATE COACHES, WHO WILL CHALLENGE THE PLAYERS TECHNICALLY AND TACTICALLY. PLAYERS WILL PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING SESSIONS, SMALL SIDEDS GAMES AS WELL AS FULL SIDED GAMES. DEREK LEADER YOUTH SOCCER CAMP THE GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY WOMENS SOCCER STAFF WILL BE COMING TO ROSWELL, GEORGIA TO HOST TWO-WEEK LONG SOCCER CAMPS. THE DEREK LEADER YOUTH CAMP OFFERS A FULL DAY OF PLAYING WITH SKILL TRAINING, TECHNIQUE TRAINING WITH SMALL AND BIG SIDED GAMES FOR CAMPERS! THE CAMPS ARE DESIGNED TO FAMILIARIZE THE CAMPERS WITH THE PROPER TECHNIQUE OF DRIBBLING, PASSING AND SHOOTING, AND TO DEVELOP KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME.
