This was the first time our daughter was going away for the summer and we were understandable cautious but optimistic. Doing the research on Brewster before signing up helped because there were so many positive reviews. I'm happy to report they lived up to those reviews in so many ways. I was especially impressed at how the counselors made it seem like every kid was a priority. This makes me wish I could go to summer camp! We'll be back next year!... Read More...

Girls 13-18, Advanced Academy - Baylor University
This academy is designed specifically for girls between the ages of 13 and 18 who wish to gain an edge in their development toward collegiate play and a chance to train in a "NCAA Division I-like" college soccer environment. Additionally, players will be trained by the current Baylor Soccer Staff, as well as college and professional coaches from around the country. Goalkeeper Training (14-18y) - Swope Soccer Village
This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys & girls 10-18 years old. Players will engage in a competitive training environment, with high level coaching. Goalkeepers and Strikers will train separately for the first half of each session and then come together during the second half of training each day. These sessions will allow players to improve technically, tactically, physically, and psychologically. The curriculum will follow the same coaching methods as our Professional and Academy Sporting KC teams. All players will have the opportunity to be trained by our Professional Sporting KC Academy coaching staff members and all sessions will take place at the official training grounds for Sporting KC and Swope Park Rangers. We recommend completing the Shooting & Finishing camp as a prerequisite to the Goalkeeper & Striker Training but is NOT required. For children entering 5th or 6th grade: Each day, students will attend six periods with a fifteen-minute recess and snack after third period. They will attend four intellectually stimulating and fun-filled classes including: Brain Booster, Adventures in Art, Science Shakedown, and Fun and Fitness. For the remaining two periods, children may choose between On Stage, a performing arts class which spans two periods, or a Keyboarding and Wild About Writing option. Find out what makes the Summit County forests tick as they cycle through their succession. Learn about the effects of mountain pine beetle, fire, and human impact on our local environments and take a zipline tour through some of Colorados beautiful woodlands. Explore the world of forest management through the eyes of a miner on a mine tour and as an FDRD volunteer. So, make like a tree and leaf on this exciting celebration.
