Our classes will focus on healthy recipes for snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional content will include kitchen safety skills, nutrition games, fun fitness activities, and more. Students will leave with the skills needed to work confidentially in the kitchen. This program is held for 3 hours a day over 4 days. Cost is $150 and includes a cookbook/workbook. Camp is limited to 10 students.

This past year, social media has been flooded with violent images of the over policing of marginalized communities. We have felt the detrimental impact of state sanctioned violence, which has led to too many of our children, parents, friends, family and community members behind bars. CJNY member organizations continue to do the critical organizing and advocacy work to resist the structural racism within our justice and education systems. Campers will have lots of fun while learning to care for their environment. Outdoor activities and environmental learning are the focus of this camp. New this year! Activities include: *A boat trip on the Indian River Lagoon *Seining *Setting up and maintaining aquaria *Area beach and park visits *Fishing *Cast netting *Various water activities *Snorkeling *Arts & Crafts *Games & relay races *Special Friday activities All teachers are state certified and camper/teacher ratio is 20/1. In addition, high school counselors assist teachers with supervision. All water activities are closely monitored. One week minimum, $180.00 per week.
