Giant City, Pomona Natural Bridge and Cave-in-Rock are just some of the places we will visit during this week. We will also sneak in a trip to the Chocolate Factory and Dixon Springs State Park. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and bug spray, a water bottle and lunch everyday. Afternoon snack will be provided. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes that they can wear while running and hiking. Camp will run from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Before and after care is available for an additional fee. A weekly newsletter will give parents and campers an idea of what to expect each week. Join us for a summer of adventure, friendship and fun! Youth Winter Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place will be doing a FREE Youth Winter Camp. Grades 6th thru 12th. This camp will be focusing on Community Service, Discipleship, We will be having youth grades 6 to 12 stay overnight for three nights. We will be doing community service hours on Friday and Saturday. We will be taking the youth to serve senior citizens in the surrounding area. The youth will be making gifts to bring to the elderly. The youth will also be disciples through a program through D-Now Studies called "The Pause" this discipleship course is four sessions and it will equip youth to learn how to seek God in a never ending multitasking environment. They will each receive a student book and t-shirt. We will be having a New Years Eve party for them. Live band and student mentors will be with them during the camp. Weather permitting we will be shoveling snow and going to sledding hills to pass out free hot cocoa and the gospel message. Possibly do "laundry Love" where we go into a local laundry mat and pay for everyones laundry to be done and more!! The various ingredients of this camp make for a fantastic summer experience. From the personal attention and fun atmosphere of learning, to the outdoor adventures and games, this is an experience hard to beat or imitate. Activities: short classes, nature walks, daily journal, creek exploration, games, field and fishing trips, and specimen collection. Session I will focus on mammals, reptiles, and birds.
