Journey to the Jungle is a week long camp that explores the classic story The Jungle Book! Our students of all ages will learn songs that take us on a journey through the jungle with Mogli and Baloo and the classic characters. This camp will integrate classic and contemporary scenes, songs, dances both from from the movie and beyond into our own version of The Jungle Book! In visual arts, they will explore sets, costumes, and prop elements this engaging tale of growing up and friendship! Camp will end in an informal presentation to showcase the fun had camp! Fishing - Big Fish - McLean Community Center
Fish and Explore will transport campers daily to lakes, rivers and other local waterways. Everyone will catch fish. Campers will be taught the basics of fishing from casting and rigging, to knot tying, to selecting tackle and lures and identifying fish. Advanced lessons on watercraft identification, reading the water, targeting specific species of fish and river navigation are also available. Students will fish different types of water: public and private lakes, reservoirs, ponds, rivers, streams, and creeks over the course of the week. All skill levels of anglers are welcome. This camp we take them from intermediate to high level advanced in terms of basketball IQ and skills taught. These camps help us identify special talents or future Camp Right Ways and International Middle School Combine (IMSC).
