Best Summer Ever
Our son just got back from the YMCA Camp and he can't stop talking about all the fun. We knew he was having a good time based on the photos he sent us but to see his face light up when he is retelling the stories is priceless. I'm sure we'll be hearing about the surf lessons, the horseback riding and the campfires for months to come! Lets Have a Ball (7/5-7/8) (PM) - MA Lower School
Each day students will play sports that involve balls such as basketball, kickball, baseball, big base, and more! The camp will emphasize basic skills, playing as a team, and sportsmanship. Students must wear athletic shoes, along with bringing a water bottle and snack. No classes or camps will be held on Monday, July 4. 6127287745 x2
Improv - Hopkins Campus
Move, express and think quickly on your feet! This workshop is full of fun theater games and improvisational activities where students will work collaboratively to create numerous characters and plots and then bring them to life on stage. We will learn and laugh a lot together. We will focus on the process of building an actors skills by using improvisation as the tool for exploration and discovery. Blake Middle School theater teacher Lynn Ellingboe teaches this workshop. 952-988-3463
Clarinet Camps - Clarinet Camp - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Designed for high school students, Clarinet Camp covers topics from clarinet assembly and reed care to history and repertoire. Students will be placed in small ensembles to play clarinet-only repertoire which will be featured in a final performance at the end of the week for family and friends. During small ensemble rehearsals and classes, well discuss clarinet specific topics including: how the reeds/mouthpieces/ligatures we choose affect our performance, various styles of clarinet playing, the acoustics and history of the instrument and emergency repair. In addition students will work on general musicianship skills including critical listening and effective strategies for auditions and performances. SKILLS Clarinet INSTRUCTOR Nina Olsen

Pandas are campers aged 3 1/2 to 5 who will not yet be in Kindergarten this fall. Parents may choose Traditional Camp, a Specialty Camp, or a combination of both. Extended Care options will be visible at checkout. This summers Traditional Camp theme is World Geography. 302-475-0555

Investigate ideas, and discover creative ways of thinking through unique experiences with art. Through a variety of fun activities in and around The Derryfield School, Creative Campers will become more confident in their ability to observe, analyze, and problem-solve. Emphasizing the power of imagination and innovation, campers will be encouraged to create their own works of art using a variety of media and materials. Sessions will include a special tour at the Currier Museum of Art, observing and exploring nature through art around campus, and projects in the art studio. (603) 721-1327
