For example, in the Around the World camp, students get their own “passport” stamped each day with the country we are focusing on. In this 3 day knitting camp students will have the opportunity to work on either a basic scarf or a pair of mittens. For those who are new to knitting or want to fine tune their knitting a purling the scarf is an ideal choice. For those who are confident with knitting and purling the mittens are a great way to explore double pointed needles as well as some shaping. Explore robotics during this week-long camp designed for incoming 1st and 2nd graders. Campers will use LEGO WeDo technology to build mechanisms, learn correct troubleshooting procedures, and witness their hand-built creations come to life! Elementary Robotics will challenge campers with various engineering problems and develop their potential.
