Come out and learn Cheerleading under the direction of an multi award winning coach and NCS Varsity squad. Coach Amanda Beery has led her team to FCC National Championships, coached girls to win Individual and Team performance awards. During this week of camp campers will learn skills that emphasize proper form and as well as safety. Stunting: Starting with low-level skills such as thigh stands and progressing to semi-advanced stunts. Tumbling: Cartwheels, handstands and round offs. Those with a solid tumbling background will work on back handspring technique. Motions: Learn all motions and the names for each arm placement with a focus on sharp and properly executed technique. Cheers: Cheers will be taught to the participants, implementing the skills learned at camp Dance: A dance will be taught utilizing the needed to excel in cheer dance. Spaghetti Dinner - Summer Camps Fundraiser - Calumet, OK
You're invited to join us for our 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Camps Fundraiser at Calumet UMC. Last year, thanks to the generous support of the community of Calumet, all campers who wanted to attend camp were given the gift to go. We have over 50 campers expressing interest this year from 1st Grade - Senior High, and from various faith families. Middlesex Youth Camp - Middlesex Youth Camp
Middlesex Camp is divided into a Senior Camp and Junior / Pee-wee Camp. Each group has its own tent on the field which serves as a home base during the day. The camp features recreational activities including arts and crafts, science and nature, sports and other organized games, weekly theme-related activities, and special events. Pee-Wee campers will have swim lessons. Junior campers will have swim and tennis lessons. Senior Campers will have tennis lessons twice a week and free swim daily. On rainy days, camp is held in the clubhouse and also under an awning over a paddle court. The philosophy of the camp remains low key summer fun, giving the children a taste of the many different activities the club has to offer, but also a time to simply play and build friendships. Fee $145M/$150R/$160NR M-F 9am-2pm Camp will offer a variety of sport experiences over the span of a week. PLT Academy, 2nd Semester - Pensacola Little Theatre
It is time for our 2nd semester of the Academy to begin! ( This is a year long program. Do not register for this class unless you are a current Academy student from fall 2015 ) This semester we focus on creating a production from beginning to end ( including set design, production coordination, marketing. outreach, etc. ) This course will also give the acting students a chance to channel some of the acting skills they learned into their character in the show. ***We will be performing one acts titled : " The Waiting Room" and " The Other Room" These performances will be open to the public. Please remember our tech week will be May 31st-June 2nd, from 2pm until 9pm each day Eveyone must attend each day of Tech rehearsal.
