My son started as a 6 year old and now he's going to be a 15 year old Leader in Training. For him, the freedom to be active in a beautiful country environment, play games, and swim was important (and he learned a lot about nature along the way). 180 Snow Camp 2016 - Trenton, NJ
The cost of this year's Snow Camp is $90. New visitors who are not already attending a church youth group can attend for free! Please sign up in our lower foyer or have your friend who attends FBC or FCS sign you up. Just be sure to give them your adult t-shirt size. The registration process will include: checking in, turning in medical forms and making payments if not already done; and then receiving T-shirts and team assignments. This year, we have a military theme "Snow Wars" - Delta Force vs Navy Seals! We are in a battle! Once registration is completed and luggage is loaded, we will head out to High Point Camp (www.hpcamp.org). We will be stopping for dinner on the way Friday night. We are still looking for some interested teens for the TCTA Theatre Arts Program! ages 12-18 It's free, there are 2 sessions at 2 different locations June 13-July 8 @ Hancock Recreation Center July 11- Aug. 5 @ Doris Miller Auditorium Monday - Friday 1-5PM Write, direct, perform and tour to other camps a contemporary performance piece that will include written word, dance, puppetry, etc. The Artists we have hired for the camp have an extensive performance and technical background. You will be taking tours of local theatre spaces and seeing performances around town. This is truly a unique experience if you have an interest in the theatre arts and performance art. Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his Friend -Proverbs 27:17 When Cleyton (his older Brother) and Clinton were growing up, that was the scripture I gave them because they were always so competitive with each other. It took it from being just a competition and one beating the other one, to the two of them helping to improve each other.”- Clinton’s mother Bonnie McDonald. Clinton is very strong in his faith and takes an active role in community service. This year will mark the 4th Annual year for Clinton’s "Iron Sharpen Iron" Youth Football & Cheer camp. The camp is a direct reflection of his leadership, active service, and pride in his hometown and provides the following benefits to young athletes: •Training by and exposure to NFL, former and current Collegiate and High School coaches. •Education regarding the ACT, athletic recruitment processes, College Preparedness & Financial education. •Inspiration and Motivation. Personal finance Camps - Money Matters - Damascus Community Recreation Center
Money Matters Camp teaches campers the importance of budgeting, saving, and practical spending using fun and engaging finance games. Campers will also participate in a week long business project where students will be responsible for creating their own Ice Cream Shop business model. Money Matters Camp is a fun and interesting way for children to learn financial responsibility. Please bring a light snack, or a lunch if your child is enrolled in camps all day. A $15 material fee will be collected on the first day of camp. Acorns will spend the week creating nature-inspired crafts, taking a wagon ride, cooling off with water play, hiking Little Mountain, playing, exploring and having an all-round great time. Acorns will enjoy a separate worship service with age appropriate songs and lessons. Acorns are led by trained staff at a ratio of 1:6. Acorn camp is for children who have not yet attended Kindergarten and are potty trained. Acorns go home before lunch but will be provided a nutritious morning snack.
