Tennis Camp: Coach Coffin - The Calverton School
The camp will be taught by Danny Coffin, Head Coach at Calverton, with over 15 years experience and running successful tennis camps. Hosted on Calvertons own six-court tennis complex, this camp will be a wonderful experience for the beginner, as well as the experienced tennis player. Wild Kratts - Old Trail School
Wanna go Wild Kratts? Come on an adventure with the coolest creatures! Cheetah speed and lizard glide, falcon flight and lion pride! Make your own creature suits and learn about a different animal and their awesome creature powers every day. There will be so many ways for us to play and learn about animals: dramatic play, crafting & art, fine and gross motor activities, literacy and math practice, and lots of science. We will wrap up our creature adventures with a trip to the zoo to see those creature powers in action! Minecraft 3D Supreme - United Faith Christian Academy
This camp is for experienced campers who have been playing Minecraft. Minecraft™ has taken the world by storm with its block-building, digital game design that allows players to build, explore, create, collaborate, and even survive. With no set rules, you can build anything you can possibly imagine. During this 5-day adventure, campers will learn different modes of playing. They will use cool mods as they escape monsters, build amazing structures, create maps, mine the world under their feet, climb the tallest mountains, and utilize robotic turtles to manipulate the vast world around them. They will learn real coding techniques to program their turtles to accomplish tasks while working as a team with other campers to unleash their creativity! Campers take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. NO Minecraft account is needed for THIS CAMP as we have licenses ready for use. Video Game Design: Invader Defense—Shark Attack! - Discovery Montessori School
Watch out! Its a shark attack! In Invader Defense: Shark Attack, we will create our own version of an invader defense game that will allow us to protect a coral reef from hungry sharks. We will use the Engineering Design Process to create a storyboard and outline the rules of play for our game. Then we will use Clickteam Fusion 2.5® to bring our storyboard to life with programming. 2016 Speed of Play ( INDIVIDUAL WEEK ): Leadership through Fitness NSC - Blaine - National Sports Center
Individual Week / Add on Registration Here (2016 AKA SOP SCHEDULE BELOW) AKASPORTs Speed of Play: Leadership through Fitness Program, is led by AKA Director, Chris Schulz and the AKA professional training Staff. Participants enrolled in the AKA Speed of Play (SOP program), in partnership with the AKA All Sports Camp (ages 6-12), will offer adolescents an opportunity to be active, train and play in an All Sports setting geared to teach them leadership qualities with personal mentorship opportunities. The base of the Speed of Play program is from 9:00am-4:00pm and the doors are open for all Speed of Play participants from 7:00am-6:00pm, the same hours of the AKA All Sports Camp so you can take advantage of supervised activity time the entire day.
