Let colors and shapes drive the art-making process while exploring a variety of media! Campers will get inspiration from Picasso and Jackson Pollock as they paint and draw their own creative masterpieces. Skills & Development - Swope (12-14y) - Swope Soccer Village
This a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys and girls 6-14 years-old. Players will improve their technical abilities and footwork with the soccer ball through practicing proper mechanics of dribbling, receiving, turning and control. Having technically sound foot skills give players a competitive edge in progressing to tactical application in game-like scenarios. After completion of the Skills & Development camp, we recommend progressing to the Dribbling & Passing camp. 3D Printing and Stop-Motion Animation (24405A) - Cary Academy
Be your own stop-motion animator and director. Learn the ins and outs of stop-motion animation, filming, and 3D printing technology. Work as a team to choose your characters, write your script, build your set with the help of 3D printing technology, and film your movie. On Stage: Spotlight Camp - Matilda - Takoma Park Community Center
In On Stage: Spotlight, everyone is a star! Our two week camp is designed to allow students the opportunity to dive into performance and design/construction aspects of theatre by working on an abridged production. This year, students will perform 5-7 musical numbers with corresponding scenework from the Broadway hit, Matilda, based on Roald Dahls beloved book. Well start each day with physical, vocal, imagination & focus building warm-ups.
