LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Spring 2016 Life on the Farm Camp - Connolly Ranch
The kids need something to do for spring break—and Connolly Ranch has a camp full of activities designed to keep them engaged in the outdoors. During our week, the children will take care of the farm animals including the new spring lambs and baby chicks, get creative with arts and crafts, learn about our honeybees and other pollinators, cook with local ingredients, build natural shelters, learn about seed starting in the greenhouse, get their hands dirty in the garden and of course hike and explore the nature trails in Westwood Hills park. Part of the day, campers will be divided into groups by age and part of the day by interest. In any case, we promise your children will come home tired and inspired! 707-224-1894

Week 5 Summer Jr. Olympics - Friends School Mullica Hill
Our young athletes celebrate the wide world of sports with a weeklong competition featuring sports and games from all over the globe. After the closing ceremony, campers will take their Friday field trip to the Riverwinds Community Center for some wall climbing, water sliding, and more! While morning activities are geared toward the weeks theme, all weekly FSMH camps include a trip to the pool Monday-Thursday for a swim lesson and play time. Campers will also have a choice in the afternoon to play outdoor games or work on arts and crafts. 856-478-2908 x126
Sunday Spring Development Academy - St Stephens St Agnes School
Saturdays 9-11 for 7th grade and below and 11-1 for 8th grade and up at the Potomac School in McLean, VA. Some weeks do change due to school sport and club schedules. Sundays are 1:30-3:30 in the afternoon on the turf at St Stephens St Agnes School in Alexandria, VA. 717-877-7351

Put your skills to the test (and with a little luck), dig, unearth, and uncover, shark, crocodile, whale, skate and rays, and shells fossils from the Chesapeake Bay! Best part- is you get to keep what you find! Learn and participate in seining activities where we will look at the marine life and catch fish, eels, shrimp, crabs, and more! Have your team participate in a beach scavenger hunt. All this fun will make you hungry for a BBQ lunch with hot dogs, chips, and a drink while you relax in a gazebo overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. Students will draw their own comic book while learning storyboarding, basic character drawing, and 3D drawing. There will be opportunities to read comic books and to use how-to-draw guides in Manga, Anime, and various other styles. On the last day everyone will take home the comic book they created. This class is led in a supportive and creative atmosphere by Lukas Allenbaugh, who has over 20 years of experience teaching various styles of art to children. 206-957-1533
