Preacher (and Men's) Training Classes 2016 - Belle Rive, IL
The 9th annual preacher and men's training classes will be held at the Little Egypt Youth Camp near Dahlgren, Illinois June 20-24, 2016. (For more information, visit . All students must register. You may do so at http://preachertrainingclasses.com/contact-2/. Please register early to secure a spot. Feel free to invite other men, but make sure they register individually. Due to the generous donations of several individuals, there will be no fees this year. Meals and lodging will be provided beginning Sunday evening through Friday at noon. We are looking forward to another great year. Hope to see you there! (These classes are specifically for men, and kitchen help has already been filled.)

Galaxy Robotics Summer Camp - Piedmont High School
Galaxy Robotics is offering a standard class for elementary and middle school students. Over the course of the week, students will design and build their own drivable robot. On the last day of class, a small, friendly competition will be held for students to experience a real tournament environment. The class features the VEX robotics design system, a system that allows for any style of robot to be built. Students will be placed on robot-building teams consisting of 3 to 4 students each, teaching not only technology but also teamwork. Campers are welcome to enroll individually or with friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp is designed for participants entering 3rd through 8th grade. Teen Camps- Handbuilding with Clay! - Artworks Texas Studio
This special camp is designed for teens who want to get their hands into clay for 3 hours each day! Teens who have already participated in an Artworks Texas pottery class or workshop are welcome to attend this camp. Students who already have experience with clay will be involved in more advanced projects. Handbuilding is the oldest form of working with clay. Ancient techniques were used to create tools for everyday living, long before the invention of the pottery wheel. Students will explore many aspects of creating with clay off the wheel. Techniques such as coil, pinch pots & slabs will be used in combination to create work during the week. At the end of camp, all projects will be fired & ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks. Please bring to camp: Large box for fired clay pieces (write name on box), old shirt to wear during camp Each day: Drink & snack to enjoy during 15 minute break About our Summer Camp! Outdoor Literacy & Hiking - Palm Harbor Montessori Academy
Hone your outdoor skills at local area parks. While on their daytime hikes, campers will learn to read a map, orient with a compass, practice wilderness survival skills, build a fire and more. There will be at least two field trips to area parks. Details will be shared on the first day of camp. All materials will be included for this camp. Animal Caretakers Camp - Meadowside Nature Center
Animal lovers and aspiring veterinarians wont want to miss this camp! Learn the responsibility, care and needs of Meadowsides animal collection such as birds of prey, snakes, turtles, and more, with daily hands-on practice in care, handling and diet preparation. Field trips (like a visit to an animal rescue and veterinary clinic) and outdoor experiences give campers a close look at how animals adapt to changes in their environment, why wildlife sometimes conflicts with humans, and why animals may need our help for a second chance.
