Disney Theater Camp (2nd session) - Winnetka Community House
Come perform, learn, celebrate, and play! This unique camp offers a combination of outdoor time, creative play, storytelling, theater dramatics, and educational experiences for children ages four to six years of age. Each week will have a new Disney theme with lessons, activities, and play based on the weekly theme. Activities may include adventure walks, outdoor play, creative dramatics, play practice, arts and crafts, water play, and more! Each week culminates with a special event. Gymnastics Camp, Ages 7-13 - Community House
Girls will have the opportunity to learn gymnastics including rhythmic gymnastics with hoops and ribbons, tumbling on the mats and have the opportunity to learn routines on the balance beam, the single and uneven parallel bars and the vault. Lorrie Rousseau is LPRDs Gymnastic Instructor during the school year and now Lorrie brings her talent and over 25 years of dance and gymnastic experience to our summer camps. This is an excellent opportunity for dancers and cheerleaders to get in shape and learn beginner through intermediate gymnastic level activities. Space is limited! This class will give students an opportunity to engage in art making through the use of markers, pens, pencil, paint, and watercolor. Different techniques and methods of drawing and painting will be explored. 510-839-5777

Students will learn various bookbinding techniques to create imaginative artist books with unique characters and storylines reflecting their own self expression. Students will also explore the book through mixed media processes like pop ups, sculptural elements, and other mixed media. 510-839-5777

Ms Meshberger will be leading our youngest students dancing and leaping as they learn a range of pre-ballet and other dance and movement activities. Dance is a wonderful way for children to express themselves and learn to stretch and strengthen their bodies while, of course, having a lot of fun!
