First Tee Golf combines learning basic golf skills and fundamentals through an innovative curriculum created in association with the PGA, LPGA, Champions Tour and Masters Golf Association. The curriculum modifies traditional sports such as football, baseball, tennis and others to the four basic shots of golf: putting, chipping, pitching and the full swing. December 19th - 30th Monday - Friday Ages 7 - 15 Opportunities for all experience levels Improve your singing, dancing and acting while rehearsing for the show "Seussical, Kids"! Each student has at least one part in this fun production, some will have more than one part! Parts are assigned through gentle auditions. Students will also assist in all aspects of the theatrical experience, including costumes, props, backstage, designing programs, and selling tickets. Each day will include breaks for snacks, lunch and outdoor activities. Bring lawn chairs to relax in. This will be our final Kids Gun Safety Class this season. Ages 5-17. We have found that this is a great learning experience for parents and children alike. We are working with the local law enforcement community to have officers, equipment and K9's available for demonstration. Children will be shooting .22 and 9mm pistols as well as .22 rifles. An instructor will be with the children to assist in holding. Please confirm in the discussion thread if you are coming. Donations of cash or ammo will be accepted at the registration table but are not mandatory for attendance. All donations go to future children's classes. Registration will start at 12:00 so please be early! Thanks!!

Requirements: All counties must provide chaperones. Youth and chaperones must stay at the camp until checked out. Activities include fun workshops, private pool and gym party at the athletic club, dance, and more. Questions? As kids grow and mature, they sometimes begin to lessen the value of imagination within the context of their writing. This workshop will teach your children appropriate methods by which they can explore creative writing in academic and non-academic settings. Most importantly, it will remind them to value and nurture their imaginations. Activities will include journaling, community creativity circles, character creation, short story drafting, and more. Mr. Chuck Wagner earned his MA in English from the University of Kansas and his MFA from Indiana University.
