10 weeks (Jun 1st - Aug 7th) of traditional styled camp full day (8am-5pm) that has provided children with a safe and fun summer for over 50 years. Each camper has an opportunity to grow, discover, build confidence, and develop physically as well as socially. Daily activities are supervised by nurturing counselors and adult professionals who lead the campers through an activity filled day. This is a TENTATIVE event page to see who would be interested in heading to Goddard Youth Camp for a weekend in June 2016. Please invite everyone that you know who has attended "Camp Goddard" through South MacArthur Church of Christ to like this event and the Facebook page. This Reunion will be open to all ages and families are encouraged to come together! There is enough cabin space for 210 people. Cabin spaces will be available in groups of 10 on a first come, first served basis. Restrictions: Older couples or those with major medical issues will be given cabin preference if they would prefer not to sleep in tents/RV's. Camping with tents/RV's will be a slightly cheaper option than cabins because we may be expecting more than 210 people. Summer Games 2016 - Maranatha Christian Schools
Come experience fun participating in "Multi Sports Camp" for a week with us! This camp is a combination of four different camps where you play, learn, and participate in the following sports being offered: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Martial Arts/Cheer. Everyday campers get to play and learn a different sport and the last day of camp all campers play a scrimmage game for 20 minutes in each sport. Come join us for the week and make new friends! Be ready to have lots of fun, open to the community. All MCS coaches, staff and volunteers will be here to help. *Must bring own snack, water bottle (for break times) and sunscreen if needed. 858-759-9737
Purple Pride Flag Football Camp (6-8 Grade) - Piedmont High School
In a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment, campers will learn all components of football including dynamic stretches, offense, defense, and special teams. Campers will learn the fundamentals of throwing, catching, running, kicking, and punting, as well as speedwork and coordination (attributes that transfer to all sports). All campers will participate in lead-up games, positional and individual work, and team games, concluding with 7 on 7 games. The camp is designed to improve a child?s skill, regardless of skill level. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This program is designed for participants in 6th-8th grade. Please bring a snack and water bottle and wear athletic clothing and shoes. Medical waiver form will be sent by email before camp begins. All participants must bring a copy of their medical waiver on the first day of camp in order to particpate.
