Want to learn how to sneak around and become undetectable in the woods? To go with the flow of nature and move silently through the wilderness? We will get down and dirty with wild camouflage, scouting techniques, jedi training course, hiding and sneaking games, honing in with our intuition and fine-tuning our senses. Camp Simcha - Session 2 - San Dieguito County Park
Activities*** A full range of balanced programs will be offered, from exciting Jewish thematic activities to sports, arts and crafts, hiking, games, music, Oneg Shabbat and singing with Craig Parks. Staff*** Our staff are mature, well trained Head Counselors, Counselors, and and Counsels-in Training. We assist campers in forming a positive self-image as Jews and human beings, while guiding the individual camper in his/her personal development. We provide each staff member with excellent training and supervision, and evaluation. Camp Simcha has one of the best camper to counselor ratios in San Diego. Swimming*** Recreational swimming at the Lomas Santa Fe Boys and Girls Club twice weekly. Camp Simcha counselors will assist the trained and certified staff. Field Trips*** Weekly camp trips will be to places within San Diego County. Afternoon extended care must be arranged with the camp directors. Camp Takoma - Week 4 (Water Wipeout) - Takoma Park Community Center
This water themed week will surely leave drenched at the end of each day. Paperwork will need to be completed prior to the first day of camp. Please bring a non-perishable lunch every day. Nerf Counterstrike - Camp Hickory Hill
Your Commander will lead your squad on training missions where you will learn to move with stealth and approach the enemy without detection. You will use camouflage face paint and clothing to become invisible in the trees. When your training is complete, you will prepare for the ultimate test; taking on your counselors in a full counterstrike operation! There will still be plenty of time for other traditional camp activities including swimming, Catan ball, campfires and Bible Exploration!! Math and Reading Games 1st-2nd grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Zarei This class will provide a positive experience while developing fundamental skills in math and reading. Our daily schedule will be filled with games and activities practicing phonemic awareness, word sorts, reading and listening comprehension. We will explore how mathematical concepts are used in everyday life, including computation, conservation and problem solving. We will have so much fun the students wont notice how much they are learning. Lets build knowledge and confidence while having a fun-filled summer together!
