LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Opti Race (Session 1 AM) - NESS
Prerequisite: Opti Green Fleet/instructor recommendation Students will work on more advanced boat handling techniques, including roll tacks and jibes, and will be introduced to more racing tactics, strategies and techniques. Sailors will learn what it takes to progress to the next level of Opti racing and will be expected to compete in local Opti regattas where Red, White and Blue fleets are formed by age. Having your own racing level Opti is an advantage at this stage and students are encouraged to bring their own boats. All students will be under the supervision of our race coach in class and at specific local regattas. Last summer we supported and coached our sailors in 7 local day-long Opti regattas and expect to support about the same number of events this year. Regatta fees are not included. 860-535-9362

I was eager to enroll at Camp Newaygo for one important reason: we could all share the summer fun as a family. Sure it's important for the kids to have their own time but when we can make memories (and plenty of crafts!) together as a family then it makes our vacation all the better. Tulsa Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is thrilled to partner with NEON as part of National Let’s Talk Month. “Let’s Talk Month” allows us to listen to community members and organizations and share information on how teen pregnancy can affect everyone. It is important for parents and guardians to know: one big “talk” isn’t enough. Start early, be honest, and keep the conversation going.

A Whale of a Tale - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
This lovely underwater musical is truly delightful! The circus themed musical plot revolves around the underwater circus band taking a leave of absence to perform at the "Clammies". This leaves the circus without their primary musical act! The story takes us through each sea creatures trials and tribulations as they pursue their dreams of being musicians. This is a fun and creative musical with light and happy songs that will have our children acting, dancing and singing their hearts out! Performance- 7/23/15 512-869-7469 x3

Natures Explorers - Week 6 - Nature Center at Shaker Lakes
How old are the rocks in Northeast Ohio and how did they form? This week we will discover many different rock formations as we explore the geology around the Nature Center, as well as Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park and Euclid Creek Reservation. National Elite Camp: This camp is designed for a varsity athlete or club player who plays year round. It is an intensive four day training program including elements of individual, team and specialty training. Three sessions will be dedicated to individual skill development. Three sessions will be designed to improve the players skills within their specialty. The final sessions will focus on developing a complete understanding of all team functions using game action drills and 6v6 competition. 610 758 3589
