Dance, tumble & cheer your way into the school year! This is an introduction to basics class developed to strengthen skills for aspiring cheerleaders, dancers, and gymnasts. Each class will cover tumbling skills, build proper jump shapes, and strengthen core & leg muscles. Students will be introduced to turning and leaping, and mini trampoline fundamentals. Cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, and handsprings are all basics to which dancers, cheerleaders, and gymnasts aspire. Dance basics will be introduced as girls learn to turn and leap with proper technique. Participation awards will be given to everyone on our show off day May 18th, the last 30 minutes of class. The Perfect Vacation
I have to admit that when we dropped our son off at Camp Kentahten my husband and I were a little bit jealous. We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. Advanced Setters Camp - Rice University Tudor Fieldhouse
This camp is designed for setters that have experience and are looking to take their game to a higher level. Campers will work on the specifics of becoming a more advanced and consistent setter and will run drills designed to set them apart from their fellow competitors. Setters will get a lot of reps to help refine their skills they already have, and learn techniques necessary to set at a high level. Setters will work on jump setting, consistency, deceptive setting, attacking the second ball, and advanced transition drills.
