Toddler Boot Camp: 'I'm a Big Kid Now' - Battle Creek, MI
Youngsters and their families will enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and surprises at Toddler Boot Camp. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Stories and songs such as "Bye Bye Binky," " No More Diapers," and "No More Monsters," will be shared to make transitioning for parent and child a fun experience.

Crafty Cruisers Grades 4-5 - Community Cycling Center Bike Shop
For the creative rider who derives their inspiration from the bicycle, this is the camp to let their imagination go wild. From small trinkets to a funky custom bike, the possibilities are endless. Campers comb over unserviceable bikes, salvage parts that inspire them, and breathe new life into them by fashioning their own bike-based crafts. Time tends to be split evenly between rides and crafts. Skills they will develop: • Controlling speed around other riders • Taking left turns into bike lanes • Riding on various surfaces • Shifting gears for efficiency • Map Reading and route planning • Wheel removal and flat repair 503-288-8864 x321
Sing! - Palace Education and Performance Center
Working with well known movie and Broadway songs, children will learn the fundamentals of singing. Each class will explore warming up and vocal technique with age appropriate tunes and vocal games. Children will also learn musical theatre performance techniques which will culminate in numbers performed for family and friends at the end of the year performance. Songs will be chosen from the classic Disney songbook through newer Broadway favorites. Past performance pieces have included such favorites as "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" from Frozen, "Evrybody Wants to Be a Cat" from Disneys The Artistocats and "Choose Me" from The Castaways. Skills learned: fundamentals of vocal technique and placement, breath support, vowel formation, diction, "acting the song" Spring focus-solo performance technique, character voice 512-869-7469 x3

This is a tentative activity. Registrations will be accepted if it becomes official.Kids will learn kitchen safety, safe food handling, and how to follow a recipe. We will learn about foods from other countries. Table setting and manners will be part of the lesson as we make an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. SUB-ACTIVITIES

Balletmäuse mit Steffanie Keim invites boys and girls on a magical journey to discover how they can express themselves through dancing, discovering body coordination, musical awareness through age appropriate exercises by using their imagination and promoting creativity, self-confidence and development. Young dancers will be introduced to ballet through games, stories and imaginative exercises and will discover the joy of creative movement. The focus is on songs and dancing to music using props and imagination and basic co-ordination. Miss Steffanie is originally from Germany and has studied ballet, jazz and top in Heidelberg and New York City. She has taught in the Young Dancers Program at Steps on Broadway in New York City and completed the David Howard teacher certification. FOR CAMPERS WITH CENTENARY UMC GROUP ONLY. Any misplaced registrants will be removed from this session. Younger campers need a lot of reassurance and unconditional love, and that is exactly what they get at 7/11 Camp. For many kids, 7/11 Camp will be their first experience away from home. So, every action-packed 7/11 day hums with words of love and encouragement sung by a staff hand-picked for their Christ-like patience and sensitivity. Counselors coach and praise the kids while they learn and explore through games, pool activities, and much more. Each activity leads to greater confidence and character building. Counselor training builds moral and spiritual application into each and every activity session. The 7/11 leadership staff creatively share the importance of a life lived for Christ through themed events at night, 7/11 worship, nightly devotionals, and one-on-one time getting to know your child.
