Teen Leadership Training Retreat 2016 - Penn Yan, NY
Join Jewish community teens from Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Ithaca for an amazing weekend of Low Ropes, Sports, Leadership Training programs, and a huge Saturday Night Carnival! FlyKids Holiday Yoga Day Camp - Keller, TX
We realize this is a busy time of year. Let us take your kids for an afternoon so you can do your shopping, wrapping or anything that needs to get done without little eyes snooping or peeking in on you. Teen Horse Day Camp - Stewart, TN
Legend Acres summer camp sessions give horse loving boys and girls the opportunity to spend plenty of time with these wonderful animals. Campers are divided into groups, based on their ability, to provide riders with activities appropriate to their skill levels. In addition, campers take part in the daily grooming, tacking up and care of the horse or pony assigned to them. Campers also participate in activities that promote good horsemanship as well as arts and crafts , snacks and lunch included. We offer three summer camp programs, based on age. The first program is our Kiddie Camp, which is a wonderful experience for children ages 4-7. The camp runs for three consecutive days from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and is $375.00 for the week. Youth Camp, for ages 8 -11 runs for three consecutive days from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm and is $375.00 per week. We look forward to seeing you at camp!! Arduino I* - $350 (July 18 – July 22) Todays technology: computer controlled Do-It-Yourself electronic projects facilitated by Arduino. Arduino is a micro-controller with user friendly coding that can be used to interact with the physical world. This Arduino starter camp will provide basic instruction on how to use the Arduino micro-controller to perform a variety of different tasks. 3B. Summer Camp - Build Your Own Computer-4 Days - Gizmos & Gadgets Kids Lab
In this hands-on investigation, kids will learn how a computer works by building a simple Raspberry Pi computer. Once the building is done, the fun continues while kids create their own versions of simple games and code in Minecraft on the computer they just built. We will have plenty of time off the computer as well when kids have the chance to learn and test game design and programming through active play. Galactic Adventures with LEGO® Bricks - Kentlake High School
The year is 2025. Our rocket ship has landed on a distant planet and our class has been asked to make it a comfortable place to live and explore. Well build homes, rovers, machines and spacecraft - and power them with LEGO® motors. The projects include: •A space home with rotating solar panels above the roof powered by a LEGO® motor •All-terrain rover equipped with a satellite dish to explore the planet and report findings back to base •Research buggy with extras like a drill to analyze rocks and dig for minerals •Spacecraft to travel around the planet This class is great for a LEGO® fanatic as well as someone new to the world of brick construction. Students learn how to incorporate gears into projects, use battery packs and motors to power creations, interlock bricks for strength, make sturdy connections with LEGO Technic® beams and pegs, and more!
