Middle school aged campers will have the option to register for one of two options in the morning then stay for an afternoon of Camp Craze. Lexington Family Magazine Summer Camps & Activities Fair - Lexington,
Visit booths representing camps, afterschool activities, birthday party venues, health care professionals, schools and more at our 14th Annual Fair. The Fair will be held at Lexington Christian Academy at 450 W. Reynolds Rd. just across the street from Meijer and behind Fayette Mall. We fill both of the gyms at the school. Each booth will have a fun activity for kids while Mom and Dad chat with the professionals. You'll find giant inflatables, face painting, costumed characters, games and giveaways. While you are there you can enter your kids in our Cover Model Contest. Professional photographer Lucy Chesnut, of Glitter and Sawdust Studios, will take photos of all their smiling faces and we'll use those pictures to choose winners who will appear on the covers of Lexington Family Magazine in the next year. We'll also have performances all day long from some of the most talented kids in the bluegrass including dancers, martial artists, gymnasts and more. Best of all? IT'S FREE! Kentwood Conqueror Basketball Camp - Kentwood High School Gymnasium
The Kentwood boys basketball team is coming of a 2nd place finish in State! The boys made a run all the way to the State Title game. The energy around the program continues to grow! We would love to have an opportunity to coach the youth of our community. Strap on your cowboy boots and warm up your vocal chords, cause this week will be full of singing, dancing, and shoot-outs. Perfect for the young singer/dancer whos got a knack for causing trouble AND saving the day. A trip to Cactus Petes is impossible to forget. Futsal is a fun, fast-paced 5v5 soccer game, played indoors within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a small, size 3, low-bounce ball. This week long futsal camp is fantastic way to get into the game whether you are trying futsal for the first time or are the next Beckham! Our highly trained professional coaching staff will ensure that your child will improve their technical skills and level of play all while having a great time. Imagine the great cities of the world and their monumental and powerful architecture. We will create our own architectural firm for the chance to build things in 3D: a hockey rink, football stadium, golf course, art gallery, a museum, a roller coaster theme park, an aquarium, or even the great Roman Coliseum! As future architects, learn about perspective drawing and go outdoors to draw the architecture of Cary Academy. For the grand finale, our creative engineering skills will be challenged with the classic egg drop project where teams design a device to protect an egg from a 15 foot drop as campers from other summer programs watch the competition and cheer us on! 919-677-7839
