The early childhood ballet class is designed to provide young students in grades K-2 the basic foundation for their dance education. This class welcomes beginners and will cover the fundamentals of classical ballet technique and etiquette. The important of strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorization will be stressed. Students will work at a traditional barre, learn combinations in the center, and dance gracefully across the floor - the universal foundation for the training of a ballet dancer. Fun creative elements such as stories, songs, games, and other imaginative activities will keep the pace of the class lively and engaging. Star Wars® FAB LAB Projects & More! - Ages 6 - 9 Build to your hearts content in this all-day workshop. In the morning, design beautifully detailed Star Wars® vehicles and power them with a LEGO® motor, battery pack and gears. Students experience the excitement of a motor - how this device can transform a stationary object into a moving one. Projects include the Millennium Falcon, Reys Landspeeder, R2D2, X-Wing fighter, and Snow-Speeder. Students construct the motorized projects, then customize the design, and play with and share ideas with other campers. Builders are sure to have the force with them in this camp! In the afternoon, students learn the principles of engineering including the use of beams, columns and trusses as they build with the KNEX® system. Well design a skyscraper and bridge and even build a motor-powered car to drive over the bridge. Other projects include amusement park rides such as a spinning swing and a ferris wheel. Fast Feet Soccer Camp - Main Campus
Calling out to all soccer fans! Mr. Jones will be hosting a week long soccer camp! Join in for a fun-filled week of soccer! The camp will be designed around the different age groups enjoying the game. Children want to play, so we will have as much game-time as possible, but skills and rules must be learnt to develop. So, we will include micro sessions before and after every game we play, so that the students are getting small doses of really important knowledge to improve their game, making it manageable and retainable. One of the features of the camp would be to watch a short clip of a famous soccer legend at the start of every day. The days session would be based on some of the moves and plays the legend performed during the clip. This would strengthen the key training objectives for the day, and hopefully, encourage the students to mimic and possibly become supporters of these legends. 6159487005.0
